The short version: the Tidily app collects no personal data. Your photos and videos are processed on your iPhone and never leave it.
The Tidily app
- No personal data. The app doesn't collect, store or send any personal data to us or anyone else.
- Your photos stay on your phone. Scanning, sorting and shrinking all happen on your iPhone. Photos and videos are never uploaded.
- No account. You don't sign up or sign in.
- No analytics, ads or tracking. The app contains no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
Don't take our word for it. Check it yourself.
iOS has a built-in App Privacy Report that lists every internet domain each app has contacted.
- Open Settings > Privacy & Security > App Privacy Report.
- Tap Turn On App Privacy Report.
- Use Tidily as normal: scan, clear and shrink.
- Come back and look for Tidily under App Network Activity.
What you should see: Tidily has no network code of its own, so you won't see it contacting any websites.
- Buying the upgrade goes through Apple's App Store, which handles the payment itself.
- Our App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.
- The app includes Apple's privacy manifest, which declares no tracking and no data collection.
Photo library access
Tidily asks iOS for access to your photo library so it can find large videos, similar shots and other items. That access is used only on your device. Photos and videos are removed or replaced only after you confirm in the iOS dialog. You can change Tidily's access at any time in your iPhone's Settings.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your name, payment card or other payment details. Apple's own privacy policy covers those transactions.
If you email [email protected], we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your email with anyone. If you'd like us to delete your messages, ask in the same email thread.
This website
tidily.app uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and may keep standard server logs. Cloudflare acts as a processor for this data. You can read how Cloudflare handles it in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Children
The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
